So this is the progress I've made in the last 10 days
1.
Cottage Before:
Cottage After: Added some purple flowers and some green under the window.
2.
Treasured Friend Teapot: This has no before because it is a new start.
3.
Handbags Before:
Handbags After: Not much, just a little bit of gold, I made a mistake and couldn't be bothered unpicking it all.
4.
Orchid Before:
Orchid After: Still didn't do very much, I just filled in sine blue and some white. I would of done more but yet again I found out that when I was younger I had made some wrong direction stitches.
5.
Thanksgiving Bow Before:
Thanksgiving Bow After: I stitched some more red and white, a star and her hand. I'm not really loving this piece that much, I'm not sure why though.
6.
Geisha Before:
Geisha After: I wanted to finish her hair but I got bored of stitching just black, also I had to unpick all in the first picture because I started on the wrong square.
Thank you for reading :) I apologise for the lighting, I had to turn flash on because it was getting dark. (Also I know the creases and folds on my fabric are dreadful but I sucked at storing stuff when I was at the ages 5-7)
Great post. Is that a thatched cottage in your first pictures?

DeleteGreat project picks for the Turtle Trot!
ReplyDeleteThank you :) I had trouble finding projects :D
DeleteA great assortment of projects and it is wonderful that you are finishing pieces for your mum.
ReplyDeleteThanks :)
DeleteIt's funny how we change in our habits once we get a little more experience. I can tell from the back of my oldest WIP what parts are newly stitched and what are old. :) Great choices and nice work.
ReplyDeleteThanks :)
