New Start :D

Hello!
I started the Cat with the Fish today :)
I stitched for a few hours but then decided to read blogs, Facebook,Watch Doctor Who episodes, Read, And Play Assassins Creed instead.
My Book Challenge started today and I managed to read a book (Or, re-read) already! I am quite proud of myself :)

Anyway, Here is Cat with the Fish. Sorry for the photo quality, I took the picture on my phone.

 

And this is what it will look like when it's finished 

 

Unlike most of the stitches I do, I copied the original chart so I can make a working copy. I actually didn't think it was legal but everyone else seems to do it so I was unsure. It's not like I'm going to make money off it though XD

New Kit :)

Hello!
Today was quite good because I brought a new kit today for $13.99
There are two others like it in the shop as well so I might save up for them ^.^
Isn't it adorable?

I have also made more progress on the Girls Face

I have finished the bottom right quarter of the cross stitch now.

I don't know how much stitching I'm going to get done now though because my book challenge starts tomorrow! :D I can't wait for it to start :D

More stitching

I did some more on the Girls Face

I really like stitching this because it is easy and I am progressing faster than I thought I would.
Do you know what I recently found out? Most Stitchers copy their original pattern first, I honestly didn't think of that and am quite disappointed in my self because if I had thought of that I could of passed it on when I finished it. Oh well, hopefully I will remember for future patterns ^.^

I had a lot of time to stitch today but kind of decided on having a Doctor Who marathon...I am not proud to say that I only watched 6 episodes :(

A finish

I have done some more stitching and have finished something!

These two are Gardevoir and Gothitelle. I got the free patterns from Here.
This is stitched on 14 count Zweigart Aida.

I did some more of the Girls Face but I don't have a picture of that.

On the Fangirl side of things, I am doing a 50 Book Challenge with some friends on Facebook that starts on May 1st. I AM REALLY EXCITED!!!

I found one of my cross stitches today!
Sorry about the picture, I took it on my phone.

                           

I did a little more work on it but my phone went flat before I had a chance to get a picture of it.
I got this kit from Trade Me for $10. It is all just black so it's pretty easy stitching.
I've had this for around two years now and haven't done much on it because I got side tracked, I got more absorbed in another one that I seemed to have misplaced.
I plan to give it to my sister when I finish it and I was wondering what it would look like in other colours, like bright pink or lime green, What are your thoughts?

I'm starting to ramble so I'll go now :) I'll try and find my other cross stitches :)

Is this how I add photos?

Hello!!!

I wanted to test to see if adding pictures would work because I am quite new to this. 

I thought I would start with my amazing pets.

 This is my Dog Lupin. He is 7 months old and is very big!

His mother is a Bulldog crossed with a WolfHound and his father is a Ridgeback crossed with a Greyhound.

He is a happy puppy and very playful. 

This is my cat Pearl. She is so cute and cuddly, she doesn't come to the house as much as she used to because Lupin scared her away. 

We also own thirteen chickens. They are very friendly, strangers can walk up and pick them up quite easily. I don't have pictures of them though. There is Zelda, Henny Penny, Sunday, Blacky, Hoody, Cleopatra, Raven, Bubbles, Chuckles, and four younger ones that we named but they look so alike we can't tell the difference. 

And that is pretty much it! Apart from the dogs we don't have anymore 

Zack-He passed away years ago :(

 

 And Lucky-We had to give her away years ago also.

So my parents finally let me have a blog!
I am a bit nervous because I haven't made one before, unless you count Facebook. I am having trouble adding gadgets at the moment, I can't figure out how to add on my Good reads widgets :(

I think I'll tell you a bit about myself.
I am a Fangirl, which you can tell by my blog name, I am obsessed with the Harry Potter series. That is my major fandom. I am also fond of Doctor Who but don't class it as one of my major fandoms because I have only seen a few episodes here and there with the Tenth and Ninth Doctors. I have started reading The Mortal Instruments Series and The Percy Jackson Series, I have only read the first books for them though.

I enjoy cross stitching, that is one of the main subjects I am going to centre this blog around. I don't stitch that much, school takes away most of that time. Though then again, I haven't attended much school for the past three years.

Oh, also, comment if you want me to read your blog as well :)
I will try and post pictures of my Stitching projects sometime next month, I lost quite a lot of them a couple years back when I re-organized my room. 

I don't really know what to write, I usually stick to reading :/
But I am really excited to make new friends :)
